Which coaches do you think wont have jobs by the end of the year if theyr team does poorly?

im looking at holmgren being gone, Martz should be fine unless things go really bad. If shanahan has a real bad season he could really be on the ropes for his poor decisions lately, tice and del rio also appear to be on the line

GM yes, coach probably not. I still think he's one of the better coaches in the NFL, he's just made a lot of questionable GM decisions.

If the DL pays off, he'll be a genius they picked up something like 6 players for the cost of what Reggie Hayward got in FA. But if their DL struggles, he might lose his GM title.

Anybody that can get you know who to look like an NFL QB can't be that bad of a coach. :D

I knew Jim Haslett back in the college days and I would love to see him do well. But I admit that he is probably overmatched as a head coach, good defensive coordinator though...

If the Cowpukes stink it up I think Parcells might call it quits!

With all that talent in Detroit....I think if "Mooch" doesn't get it done this year, he may have some splainin' to do.

I think Gruden is in a bit of hot water down in Tampa. If they struggle he could be gone.Capers in Houston also better get results pretty soon.Tice is probably on the shortest leash.

I think Tice. I don't see him as being a decent NFL coach, then again most people don't. I also would say Parcells, if he has another awful season he might leave on his own accord.

I say if Green has another 6-10 season or worse he will be shown the door, I still cant get over those two 49ers losses last year if we wouldve won both of those games we wouldve made the playoffs. I really hope the Cardinals do well this season so we dont have to worry about finding another coach next offseason.

Wow! Now I agree that Green needs to prove something this season but to say to get rid of him after this season is horrible.

How long did we give coach MAC?

2 years, but he showed no signs of improvement...

Green would not be fired after this year based on the D's improvement alone. If the O-line remains bad this year, then I believe Green will have to really turn it around by year 3 or he will be in danger.

There is no way we go into the new stadium with a new HC, no way...

The problem is if you fire him, you still owe him what, 20 million in salary? He'll stick beyond this year just because of what they pay him and a payout would need to be reached.

green has his 5 years + locked down with arizona, he has taught the bidwills how to spend the money on the right guys rather than filling a team with busts, super bowl or not he brings in talent better than any coach weve ever had

Agreed. Denny Green has got this franchise headed in the right direction. That's something we haven't had in a long time. Green will coach the full contract unless something drastic happens.

If Haslett and Tice dont lead their teams well into the playoffs they should both be fired.

Haslett has done little with an enormously talented group. Look at that Offense. Deuce, Brooks, Horn, all three are pro bowl caliber.

Tice, oon the other hand, has no more excuses. They should have a solid defense and barring injuries their offesne wont loose much imo. These teams go less than 10-6 I show them the door.....

Tice will be gone.
Vermeil may retire.
Gibbs may also retire or asked to resign if the Redskins don't improve, many feel the game has changed significantly since he coached and he is not up to it anymore.
Haslett is on a very short leash.
Capers in Houston and Gruden in Tampa Bay need to show improvement.
Agree that Parcels could quit if he feels Cowboys not making progress.
Green will be back for the 2006 season.

One guy we msy have missed is Coughlin. A lot of players don't really like him and if he has another bad season..........well, you never know.

I've been saying Haslett for the last three years and he's still around, so...

This year I guess I will go with:

1) Martz, simply becuase its time that Marmie shows how bad a defense he can really field.

2) Norv Turner. If the Raiders fail to produce to the hype they're getting, he's going to be the fall guy.

3) Gruden, if the Bucs don't turn it around this year, it will be three straight losing seasons.

Hasslet will get a pass, especially if the Saints will not be able to play in New Orleans.
