Coldplay will perform at halftime of SuperBowl 50

I dont even like Coldplay that much, but atleast they are a decent BAND and they put on an awesome live show I have heard from many of my friends who have gone. I would way rather have any band, any band playing live over some pop princess lip syncing...

God the halftime show is like standard issue bitching anymore. It's almost like a badge of honor of coolness... "Meh I didn't even like that halftime show!"

Same with the black eyed peas when they played the Cardinals game in our first year that was fun, they got everyone going. Fergie looked hot. Man, people are hard to please. lol It's just music man.

In SB 48, Bruno Mars would have carried the halftime on his own but they felt they had to insert the Red Hot Chili Peppers into the mix for some reason. Bleh. Should have been ALL Bruno, IMHO.
