You're forgetting the 3rd option. Kyler, Kliff, and Keim are all terrible despite us not being a terrible team.
Might just be that they’re all just mediocre, which is what we’ve basically been the last four years.

What’s weird to me is the playcalling. I recall thinking Kliff had some wrinkles up his sleeve those first couple years but haven’t seen much of that for a while. Maybe NFL defenses completely caught up, but I see almost zero innovation on offense at this point.

I feel PACardsFan purposely likes to get a rise all of you guys. I see the same overly defensive post about Kyler, but slightly changed each time. Then, K9 comes in with the sarcastic HS accomplishment posts then it just piles on from other posters, lol.

It’s like an annual skit.

And it still gets mentioned by the in-game broadcasters from time to time. They're getting the information from somewhere, and I'd bet dollars-to-donuts is Kyler/his team/the Cards media infrastructure. It's embarrassing.

I can't think of another pro QB whose high school career gets discussed as much (if at all).
Well to his defense.. it gets mentioned in the media because he is viewed as the most winning QB in high school at the best high school football state in the country - Texas.

(And darksiders no I don’t think it should be mentioned or cared about at all regarding his pro career)

I just don’t think that most broadcasters—especially former pros—really give much of a fig about that unless it’s incepted by the player or a media flack.

LOL… Kyler has won everywhere he’s been?! Kyler Murray never won JACK SQUAT in college. Did next to nothing at Texas A&M and got destroyed in his only big game at Oklahoma, where as has been the case in the NFL, he was awful to start the game, helping dig his team into a 21-0 deficit that all but ended the game.

As for the NFL, he has a losing record as QB.

None of that is a defense for Kingsbury so don’t project that stupidity into my argument. But the idea that Kyler had won everywhere is laughable.
He won in HS, College & took the worst team in Cardinal history to the playoffs. So, yes, he’s won everywhere he‘s been. It’s not rocket science my friend. Meanwhile, KK couldn’t win when he had Mahomes.

The fact that he consistently mentions that he has stolen plays from other teams tells me that he’s not the offensive genius that he sold himself as in order to get the gig he currently has.

You’re delusional. Bringing up high school just makes you look like a moron.

So, let’s start again. He flamed out at Texas A & M. Wasn’t a winner there.

EVERYONE won at Oklahoma, except he couldn’t win a playoff game to save his life.

And he’s got a below .500 record with the Cardinals.
I mean… would you say Baker Mayfield’s a winner? He was MORE successful than Kyler in college. Took over an AWFUL Browns teams and got them to the playoffs AND WON a game.

So does that make Baker a winner? Is he better than Kyler? He’s certainly had as much if not more success in both college and pro according to your measuring stick.

So now I sound like a moron? Where are the moderators when it matters? FYI, I‘ve forgotten more about football than you’ll ever know. Getting into the final 4 of the college football playoffs with an absolute trash defense is success my friend. What does Baker have to do with this discussion?? Do you really think the Browns were worse than the 2018 Cardinals that Murray was drafted into? And btw, Murray is 3-0 in the pros against Mayfield, so no, Baker is definitely not better. Murray was cursed to be drafted by this miserable Cardinal franchise. Even if Mahomes had been drafted by us, he wouldn’t be anywhere near today where he is in KC.

He isn't stealing the right ones!

Seriously - all coaches do that.

I do wish he would steal more from Andy Reid and the Eagles offense.

Couldn’t agree more. We run similar bubble screens, only our WR’s get hit as soon as they catch the ball because our other WR’s cannot block. Those bubble screens worked when Fitz was around. Even Hop was a good blocker. The Eagles run beautiful TE screens too.
