Look at Skelton in that clip. Why do so many QBs stand with their hands holding their shoulder pads like that? Maybe to keep from hurting a hand or finger? It's weird that QBs seem to do it but none of the other players.

I remember doing it because the jersey and pads seemed to ride up around the neck so you tugged on them to give yourself a little wiggle room. Minor I know but it felt better.

shoulder pads gety annoying on your neck, they are just holding them down. its more comfortable.
