The 'tiny glass shack' bit wasn't at all dismissive of anyone who may not have aligned themselves with the mighty KU?
:?

Sensitive? Not at all. UA fan here, but I think that fairly irrelevant to this discussion. I just enjoy KU losses. :)

That's cause we are one of the kings and people like to see us fall. Nobody cares about UofA losses. Nobody would ever put an incentive on a win over UofA exclusively because they don't care and aren't that rare (tiny glass shack).

I'm a KU alum BTW, are you a t-shirt UofA fan?

We? Us? Lol. YOU, and KU fans like yourself is exactly why I relish KU losses. I've got no antipathy to the KU team, or its history, but its fans can suck it.

And I was correct, contrary to your denial, that you seem to hold yourself is high esteem due to your rooting interest. At least you are predictable. As if it wasn't painfully obvious you were asking who MY team was so you could denigrate said team.

UA alum here, yes. Twice.

Eye for an eye IMO. You throw stones, they get thrown back. You'd be better off just thanking KU for the sport you love and follow and moving on IMO.

I'd say UofA fans can suck it, but I really don't care enough about them to feel that way, just ones who like to throw stones because they can't get enough enjoyment out of their own teams success and have to be haters to boost their own feelings.

Lol. I bow to your importance. Which mid major knocks KU out of the tourney this year?

We will probably be a 2 seed and it'll be Santa Clara. That would be historical, I mean hysterical!

That or we will end up in the NIT like 2012.

Wait, that's not us......

When it comes to early tournament upset losses, UA and KU are on par with those disappointments. But yeah, let's compare those unlikely exits.

3 Nattys
9 finals appearances
14 final fours
Longest current tournament appearance streak (longest all time)
2 Helms Championships
12 consecutive conference championships (second most all time)
59 total conference championships (most all time)
2nd in all time total wins
The father of the game coached here and is the only coach with a losing record
The father of the NCAA tournament and Olympic basketball coached here
Only 8 total coaches in the history of the program and half are in HOF
Adolph Rupp and Dean Smith are in our coaching tree, Kentucky and UNC owe KU their legacies.
We own and display the original rules of basketball

Your turn...

I thought we were comparing early tournament exits? Lol, trotting out KU's historic figures...whatever man, never stated UA was on KU's historic level, but if it helps with your self esteem keep on going.

Tough to answer. I love Josh Jackson, favorite non UCLA player this year by a mile. But and it may be because they just beat UCLA but I gotta say right now i think UA is better than Kansas(and UCLA). Trier put them over the top. Huge team, big long guards(other than PJC). If they continue to shoot well from 3 they're a very tough out.

KU has great guards but struggles up front. Still good enough to be a tough out especially since Josh just seems to get better and better, he's IMO become one of the better defenders in the country which is remarkable because they often ask him to essentially play the 4 on defense.

Fun year for me both because UCLA is much improved and because right now it appears there's 10-12 teams who could win the whole thing.

You're team doesn't even get to the tourney some years, where does that put them in "early tournament exits"?

We were already thin in our frontcourt and losing Doke for the year put us against the wall. I think we could put 6 games together given the right matchups, but we are not a complete team. It's unfortunate the amount of frontcourt issues we've had going all the way back to Embiid.

I think another major issue for KU was Bragg, both the suspension issue that apparently turned out to be he did nothing wrong, and he just hasn't improved as much as everyone thought he would which is why Jackson often has to play the 4.

Since the tournament went to 64 teams in 1985 KU has one (1) more tourney appearance than UA. UA's 1st tourney miss on 25 years in 2010 gave KU the longest active streak, so you're welcome.

I don't see KU anywhere on the top 10 home court winning streaks...isn't the Phog supposed to be a tough place? I see UA twice on that list with 81 and 71 game streaks.

But whatever. I've never argued UA is a better program overall, that would be stupid. But I am finding your defensiveness entertaining. I hope the two teams meet in March. Hopefully it'll turn out more like 1997 than 1996.

You also have a miss in 2012 and two vacated appearances, but details, right?

We've lost 9 games there in 12 years. We are 750–109 (.873) since 1955. What's UofA's record all time or even the past 12 years?

I'm finding your comments eristic and saddened that you're such a hater.

I'll take UA's home % against anyone's. Since 84/85 UA is 466-59 (88.762) and since 10/11 104-6 (94.545) at home.

...and we'll not talk about KU NCAA violations/probations.

Yes, I'm a hater. Like I said, mostly against rabid KU fans (who troll a lot of UA forums, including showing up to talk ish after any UA loss, so yeah, no one cares when UA loses as you said upthread). That you care so much that a 'hater' of 'your' team is out there is really amusing to me. All because someone found Huggins' bonus for beating the chickenhawks funny...

Some KU fan stole your gf back in the day and you have to take it out on me. I get it. ;)
