The Bethel University men's basketball team simply did not have an answer for Kashie Natt Friday night.

Natt, a senior guard, was dominant in overtime to lead his No. 2 LSU Alexandria team past the No. 14 Pilots 83-78 in overtime in a Sweet 16 game of the NAIA National Tournament in Kansas City.

Natt scored 12 of his team's 14 points in the five-minute extra session as the second-seeded Generals improved to 31-2. LSU Alexandria advances to the Elite Eight Saturday night to face either Baker (Kansas) or Oklahoma Wesleyan. The semifinals are Monday night with the title game Tuesday night.

Fourth-seeded Bethel, which had defeated the Generals 85-67 in a first-round NAIA tourney game in 2024, finishes at 24-9.
