Harris will send Les Miles down in flames... Oh wait, I already said that.

Agreed. I also agree with the announcer when he said he had no idea where Harris was going with that throw.

Navy pulls freshman QB Malcolm Perry from stands to play in game
After starting quarterback Tago Smith injured his right knee in the first half of Saturday's 52-16 victory against FCS opponent Fordham, the Midshipmen pulled freshman Malcolm Perry out of the stands.

Perry, listed as the team's No. 4 quarterback after preseason camp, was wearing his uniform whites while sitting in the brigade at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium.

By the fourth quarter, Perry, from Clarksville, Tennessee, was playing in the game.

This is the first time since 1972 that two Top 5 teams have lost in week 1.via espncollegefootball Twitter page

I don't even think that was an upset being at A&M but UCLA was terrible. Rosen played horribly, the WR's dropped 3 TD passes one of which became an INT. and then at the end of regulation with a chance to go kick a game winning FG the veteran C snaps the ball early, Rosen drops the snap, panics and then throws an INT cementing the OT.

I knew the WR situation wasn't going to be great this year, not much experience but the combination of Josh missing so many wide open throws and WR drops just killed UCLA.

And when is Mora going to figure out SoSlow Jamabo is not a RB and put Bolu as the starter and move Jamabo to Wr or defense. Big kid great athlete runs too upright, no wiggle at all and just runs into the defenders, drives me nuts. He had 91 yards rushing, Perkins would have had 150+ with the same carries because he could actually make the first guy miss.

Brutal performance.

Remember when there was this movement to dump Miles during the off season and the loyalists stuck with him? Whoops.

That speaks volumes about those pre season polls.

here's one I've never heard before. On the INT off the dropped snap, apparently due to crowd noise UCLA was using a system where the guard would bump the C to tell him when to snap the ball. So the OL not the QB was actually calling that. On that play the ref inadvertently bumped the C, he snapped the ball and Rosen not expecting it dropped the snap. He admitted after the game he was flustered by dropping the snap and never saw the defender who made the pick.

Weird officiating weekend. In the Stanford game one Stanford CB got away with at least 3 blatant PI's, 2 of them in the endzone. In the UCLA game the C for UT got away with an obvious head bob at least 4 times, twice bad enough to cause a UCLA DL to jump offsides. Even Danielson the announcer was complaining he said that's just way too much movement by the C's head refs can't allow that it's simulating a snap it's entirely unfair. But in both games the refs were consistently bad with those calls the whole game.

Texas wins in OT 50-47

I have no affiliation with Texas other than my best friend played for them in the 70's under Daryl Royal. Still holds the record for punt returns in a season. Aaron Ross drafted by Giants tied him so they own the record together.

Brain cancer sucks..

RIP Jimbo

btw, Brian Kelly gives my wife the creeps.

That was the best win for texas at home that I've seen in a very long time. Maybe the best I've ever seen at DKR memorial.

Overall what a start to the CFB season. 3 top 10 teams lose and two others almost lost to unranked teams. Might go to red river game if I can get Tix.

yep so 3 top 10 teams fall and two others were very close losing to unranked teams. app state played Tenn really tough and auburn played Clemson to the last play(If I recall auburn was not ranked?). Tex beat ND and Tex was not ranked. TCU also got worked a bit by South Dakota St...
