Tennessee to lose top DB Cam Sutton for 'an extended amount of time'
Unfortunately, Tennessee will do so without its All-SEC cornerback Cameron Sutton.

Sutton injured his right ankle during the first quarter of Tennessee's 28-19 win over Ohio and never returned to the game. Afterward, coach Butch Jones did not give an official diagnosis as to what Sutton's injury was, but he did say that Sutton would miss "an extended amount of time."

That's not good.

USC benches RS junior Browne for freshman Sam Darnold(RS). Kind of surprising Browne hasn't been that bad it's been the whole team, he's not been great but it's not like the Wr's were running wide open and he just missed them.

Strange year Josh Rosen and Browne were both highly touted HS prospects and considered NFL guys. Rosen is struggling in UCLA's new prostyle offense, and Browne is already benched.

No. 13 Florida State reinstates QB Malik Henry

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) — Florida State quarterback Malik Henry has returned to the team.

Henry was suspended by coach Jimbo Fisher on Aug. 20 for a violation of team rules. Fisher has refused to say why he suspended Henry.

Wow, it sounds like he is ready to transfer.

Browne, a redshirt junior, said he’d already begun thinking about his options for the future. As a graduate student, Browne is eligible to transfer after the season and play immediately.

“You think about it right away,” he said. “You think about all the possibilities at hand. But at the end of the day, it’s only Week 4. There’s a lot of ball to play.”

Helton is already on the hot seat at USC and this stuff doesn't help. Pictures out today show that on the XP after the TD pass to mcCaffrey where USC left him completely uncovered, USC had only EIGHT players on the field for the XP! That is THREE guys who were supposed to be on the play were not.

Stanford's coaches apparently caught it but too late to change and just go for 2 so they went ahead and kicked it.

Secret's out at No. 11 Wisconsin: Hornibrook to start at QB

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — The secret is out at No. 11 Wisconsin: Alex Hornibrook will start at quarterback on Saturday against No. 8 Michigan State.

Coach Paul Chryst said Thursday that Hornibrook would take over behind center after Bart Houston started the first three games.

Chryst said he made the decision this week, though Thursday was the first time that he had talked about it publicly.
