Notre Dame (I think this is maybe the toughest game to predict)
I hope Boise St. do well and I'll be pulling for ASU the rest of the way if they upset Texas. I agree about Notre Dame being tough to pick over Georgia, but Georgia are playing with a freshman QB.

Boise State v. Penn State is first up tonight at 4:30 PST. Penn State is favored by 11.5. In some ways, kind of comparable to ASU's matchup, both have big time running backs going against top notch defenses, both are big underdogs. I haven't watched these two teams enough to make a bold prediction, but hopefully it will be a good game.

You kind of wonder if Penn State, and Texas for that matter, are looking past their underdog opponents... to the next round...

CFB + NFL SEEMS GOING IN BOXING DIRECTION.
When I was young heavy weight and championship boxing ruled the planet. No other event had more viewership, hype, importance worldwide then boxing. Free to all public it was a world unifying spectacular. A commercial had maximum effect worldwide, expanding desires and brand in all the various corners of this world.

Then they got greedy and exclusive pay per views , excluding poor folk, countries and cultures. I haven’t know who the champions are for many decades , with occasional fleeting interest.

Now I ain’t buying espn to watch my public Arizona state football team, that gets exciting chance at a championship like - we’ll never. I’m taxed and then charged for my not so fanatical.
So go Devils, but corporate sports can stick that ole football right on up in , where the sun don’t shine.

No, they won't be when they don't even know who they will be playing. I would love Boise upsetting Penn State. You never know.

Every team outside the SEC and B1G needs Boise St to not only play really well and be super competitive but to possibly even win the game. If BSU craps the bed, it just gives more justification to the two super conferences that nobody else belongs.

A tightly contested, close loss is fine but a win is obviously better. I believe the same holds true for ASU

One other thing. I live in Oregon, aka Duck Country. We got the duck flags on the big trucks flying around town, double parking, running you off the road, or so it seems. Talk about arrogance! These fans are too much for me. Not sure how it plays in the grand scheme of things, but I really wouldn't mind if they get knocked out early.

I think this game might actually be over at this point. I don’t often say that in quarter 1 but not looking good

Now Boise is right in it after Penn St completely loses track of a TE.
