There's a good chance we're going to end up with an all SEC/B1G Final Four with Ohio State, Texas, Georgia, and Penn State. I guess we root for Notre Dame?

I hate Ohio State so with ASU out, the Suckeyes losing is the only real rooting interest left for me.
yeah I guess I'd rather Oregon win. I was impressed with how Ohio State bounced back last game. they also played Oregon close in Eugene so you would think they have a better shot on a neutral field. still plenty of time in this one.

I picked Notre Dame because Georgia is playing with a freshman QB. Losing Beck was tough for them. it's still Georgia though and they will probably prove me wrong.

me thinks Ohio State will be favored to beat Texas by a decent amount unless something changes in the 2nd half.

One other thing. I live in Oregon, aka Duck Country. We got the duck flags on the big trucks flying around town, double parking, running you off the road, or so it seems. Talk about arrogance! These fans are too much for me. Not sure how it plays in the grand scheme of things, but I really wouldn't mind if they get knocked out early.
Looks like you might get your wish.

well with Ohio state up 41-15 IDK that Oregon have enough possessions in the fourth quarter to come back. they would need to score on a turnover or really hit some big plays that don't take time off the clock.

Meh, ASU and to a lesser extent Boise St did ok with the bye. Oregon clearly didn’t although I question if their issues really had much to truly do with the bye
yeah I picked Ohio State to win that game not because of the bye, but because Ohio State almost beat Oregon in Eugene and they would be out for revenge this time on a neutral field. I do think that there can be some tweaks to the seeding. Did Oregon deserve a better matchup? maybe and it's hard to make excuses for the ducks now after they got blown away, but Ohio State lost to Michigan. If Ohio State beat Michigan the bracket looks different and Oregon plays someone else.

The games, other than ASU-tu, have not been very good. Really mostly unwatchable if you aren't a fan of either team. Yeah, Boise and Clemson had brief moments where it looked like they might compete. But most of those 2 games were like the rest. One sided.

We were hoping for something like March madness but it isn't happening in year one. In fact, it looks like the old system was actually doing pretty well. Hopefully next

13-3 ND over GA. Stockton with the late turnover and ND takes advantage. Interesting in GA's last game vs. Texas they opted to try a hail mary to end the first half when maybe they should have just taken a knee. in result they lost their QB and probably any hopes of winning the national title. some of these late half risk/reward decisions are haunting them.

My direct report is a huge Notre Dame fan (his family had season tickets for 45 years before they gave them up in 2007 because of how expensive they had gotten). I let him go home early today so he could watch the game. I am sure he is happy right now!

good on you for doing that. I didn't realize how early the game was.
