I watched the replay on NFL Network and it looked like Winslow's momentum was carrying him out of bounds before the hit. It sure didn't look like he would have gotten both feet down.

But again, who cares? :D

Collingsworth has to understand that, if the average call by a referee is stupid, then half the calls made are even more stupid. I think some great thinking mind like George Carlin said something like that. :)

After todays outcome, I can honestly say I know what it feels like to be a Cowboy's or Redskin's fan.

I thought the ref WAS going to rule forceout and a catch. When he signaled incomplete, I wanted to charge to field and hug the guy. I don't think it was much different than the McCown to Poole play.

He may have gotten one foot in bounds. No way could you say he would have definately came down with both feet in bounds.

And Rolle may be one of the worst corners I have ever seen.

was a touchdown, he was pushed out BUT THE OTHER BLOWN REVIEWS AND YEARS OF US GETTING THE WRONG END MAKES ME SAY...

I DON'T CARE...WE WON, WE WON! WE WON!!

Nope, we won. No way knowing if he would've "clearly" come down in bounds. No way of knowing that. Good call (for once) by the ref

Oh dear God. Take the win. Nobody fault's you for that. But to try to make it sound like "nobody knows what would have happened" is ridiculous. If you believe that then there's no sense in having the force out rule at all because no one ever really knows, do they? But as far as judgment calls go, this one was pretty obvious. You sound ridiculous trying to make it sound ambiguous.

Calls go both ways so I have no problem with the way it ended up. But can we dispense with the revisionist history?

I'd say it's about a 99% probability that Winslow would have come down inbounds, more than good enough for the official to rule a force-out.

On the other hand, while I haven't seen a replay of the Warner interception that is controversial, the replay of the Edwards catch is entirely conclusive... you can see where his left leg makes contact with Holt and bounces back.

Things tend to even out. It was a close game; somebody had to lose, them's the breaks.

I think this lecture is unecessary and borderline flaming.

I don't think theres anything definite about it. 50/50 on whether he would have landed in bounds. The fact that both Cards were trying to make a play on the ball is important. I can see this play both ways.

I actually think he got his right toe inbounds, though his left was clearly out. Like someone else said (sorry for not giving credit, I forgot which thread I read it), I was mostly worried that the ref would make something up and say it was a force out, even though it's not allowable to determine that on review. It took so long to make that call, what took so long? Ridiculous.

Oh, and Chris Clownsworth is an absolute tool, probably the worst sports "announcer" in the business, not just football.

Easily the worst. I'd be worried if we had that rat-faced hack on our side for anything. I don't want that creep taking our side in anything, ever.

Really? Man, I didn't even think I was lecturing but it must have come off that way because two of you said it. I was simply saying "C'mon man, we all know it was a force out. No need to try to play it off like it wasn't. Doesn't change whether or not you should have won the game."

If it came off as more than that, my bad. Wasn't my intention.

Ok, it's sometimes hard to get the intent of the message when it's not it person.

hey Seachicken

I did give a smiley on my lecture remark LOL. I would have called it a touchdown by force out because I did see one foot in but that is a judgement call on the field and that cannot be reviewed by the booth but whether he had both feet in. Given that though, I would have also called Warner's pass incomplete and not an int. under the magic curtain and also would have called back that TD...Holt clearly touched him with the shin.

Another thing going un-noticed here is the fact that K2 pushed off to get seperation right at the goal line. If he doesn't do that there is no way he catches it to begin with.

Now on the catch, the official is looking right at his feet. Then he thought about it for a second and then ruled incomplete. I think his reasoning is because KW's first foot came down out of bounds and his other leg was up in the air and never had a chance of come down inbounds. But hey that could just be my interpitation as I am a Cards fan and we don't get many calls. Just look at the other 2 reviews for reference.

Oh that's right, you have a magic ball that let's you know what would've happened and to say it's rediculious to say "no one knows" is arrogant. You can not say wether or not he would've come down in bounds and neither can I. I was pointing out how stupid Collinsworth said he would've "clearly" come down in bounds, he doesn't know that. And again you insult me by calling me rediculious, you have a bad habit of coming off very condescending , to me in particular.
