I'm watching a Suns special on Fox Sports and the training staff brought in a new piece of equipment called the Colorado Altitude Training (CAT) that basically is a chamber that you work out in that simulates higher altitudes. 20 minutes working out in there is like working out for an hour in the gym. So you get a workout 3x faster with less wear & tear on the muscles & joints. Pretty cool.

I think it is dumb that they don't do their training camp in Flagstaff anymore.

No kidding! 7K altitude can't hurt! I think they should bring it to Lake Tahoe, myself. ;)

Remember who's call that was in 1997?

Danny Ainge. He moved the team's training to Phoenix to be closer to his family and then prompty took a TNT job the next year.

I don't need to click the spoiler to know Danny Dillweed was responsible for that.

I used to love making the trip up the hill to Flagstaff for the public scrimmage. It's in October and therefore still miserably hot in Phoenix - I always looked forward to cooling off and watching the team play that weekend. Tucson sucks in comparison.

I wonder if I could have this installed into my cube and only work for 2 hours and 45 minutes a day? I wouldn't even take a lunch, because that's the kind of guy I am

I have a few co-workers that suck the air right out of the room... so yes, I already have a similar machine at work.

Is that why i keep seeing these commercials that Phoenix is running out air?
