Colorado played Oregon tough on Saturday. The score was tied at halftime.
We do not want to overlook them. One game at a time.

Exactly. I haven't read up much on this one yet, but I sure hope that we continue the effort level from the last game. Having Coach Patterson and Norvell on the sideline seems to be a big improvement.
So who was in the press box for the UCLA game? I missed out out on this information.
That was Bo Graham's role he had fulfilled in working with OC Norvell for years. So when Bo abruptly resigned, the decision was made that Norvell would move up to the press box. It was a failure. The UCLA game was the first one with him on the field, as he normally has been in the past.
So do you know who was in the press box for the UCLA game, replacing Norvell? Whoever it was, it worked.
Offensive coordinator Mike Norvell was back calling plays from the sideline in ASU's 38-23 win. He had spent the last three games in the press box.
"Mike is such an inspirational leader,'' coach Todd Graham said. "I know he wants to see better and all that, (but) we just have to figure out how to get around that because you can't replace (his passion)."
In addition, co-defensive coordinator Keith Patterson moved down to the sideline after previously coaching from the press box.
"Keith took over the defense on the sideline and I watched the offense, defense and special teams," Graham said. "I wanted (Patterson) to come down because I'm having to (run the defense) and then I can't help the offense. (Patterson) called all fronts. He called all the third-down pressures and did a hell of job. I did the (defensive) audibling."
Tight ends coach Chip Long and offensive assistant Josh Martin worked from the coaches' booth, along with other graduate-assistants. Former quarterback Taylor Kelly remained on the sideline with Norvell.
"Obviously, we missed some things with Bo's deal,'' Graham said of former running backs coach Bo Graham, who left the team two weeks before the season opener. "That was difficult because we had been together for so long."

Yea. This is a much improved Colorado team from years past. The 1st half of that Oregon game, Colorado looked like the better team. ASU is favored by 15. 1st off, ASU needs to make sure they win this game. 2nd, ASU needs to win this one by more than 15 to get back on the national radar. I can honestly say if ASU comes out and dominates this game, they could be back in the top 25 after this weekend
IMO rankings don't matter. They just need to win the south.
Looks like Chip Long and Josh Martin:

Yep, Graham even said they can't lose another game if they want to be Pac-12 South Champs. This is a heck of a competitive conference. I would be happy with the PAC12 South, without all the national recognition. But even that is going to be a very tough road.
If Cal somehow goes in and beats Utah, the south will be wide open!

Its game day people!
I am hoping we can string together another solid performance on both sides of the ball.
