There is no reason in the world to even TRY to do a mock draft. At least not until San Diego makes some announcement on what they are doing. I'm glad I;m not a Charger fan because at this point I'd be out of my mind. They should have known for a week or more the guy they wanted or have a couple of trade options already in set. They have failed miserably and now the whole world knows they really don't want the first pick.
They would be smart to accept an offer from the team that has the highest 1st round pick without trying to demand to much. For instance swap first picks with the Giants and a player or an additional 3rd round pick. At #4 they could still take the BPA or trade down further. Somebody is going to want to move up for the remaining QB's and/or " blue chip" players available at #4.
I really thought for the longest time that Fitzgerald was going to be a Cardinal. I don't think so anymore. I see him in silver and black.
We will end up with Taylor or Winslow.
If Fitz is gone I would be interested in all trade options for Gallery, unless of coarse thats who the Giants traded up for.....or the Browns......or the Skins. In that case I would be interested in all trade options for Manning. Unless of coarse Oakland trades out of #2 for somebdy that wants Manning.
Wait.....That would leave Fitz. ARRRRGGHHH. See what I mean?!?!?

Isn't this what makes the draft so much fun, though? Speculation is the best part about being a sports fan.

That is why they call it a "MOCK" draft.

Here is the definition of Mock and explains the mock draft to a T. I really like the 3rd one.

Code:
  1. To treat with ridicule or contempt; deride.
   2.
         1. To mimic, as in sport or derision. See Synonyms at ridicule.
         2. To imitate; counterfeit.
   3. To frustrate the hopes of; disappoint.
