Hey man---what a ride!

I watched OSU's two bowl games and was extremely impressed with both lines, RB E-Z Elliot, the quickness to the ball and big-time tackling prowess of the defense and the uncanny abilities, poise and leadership of QB Cardale Jones.

If you have the time, could you please offer your thoughts on the Buckeyes headed to the 2015 draft and which ones you would like the Cardinals to pick?

In addition---your thoughts on Cardale (Cardinal in Glendale = Cardale) as an NFL prospect?

Especially interested on thoughts about DT Michael Bennett. Could he be a Dockett replacement ?? Most have him going late first or early second at this time.

Yes, congrats Cbus. I assume he is still recovering from being tear gassed.

Amazing to think how close they were to losing at Penn State, and now they are national champs.

Bosa is a very interesting prospect. I assume he will come out for the Draft.

Thanks. Yes, yesterday was a recovery day. I thought they'd handle Oregon but also thought they'd lose to Bama.

As for draft prospects, they really don't have that many this year. They are an extremely young team. Next year is when the draft will be loaded with OSU players.

This year there may only be four, five if Jones declares, guys drafted that will have any significance and those four are WR Devin Smith, DL Michael Bennett, CB Doran Grant, and TE Todd Heuerman.

Devin Smith has moved into second round consideration and is the best deep threat in the draft. Thing is, he's kind of a one-trick pony. He's purely a deep threat and not that great of a route runner. Still, some team will take a chance on him relatively early because of that deep speed.

Bennett: I don't think fits the Cards mold for a DL. He's more of a 4-3 DL but he will likely go in the first 2 rounds. He seems like a Lovie Smith type of DT.

Heuerman: he probably isn't on the Cards radar either since they took a very similar prospect last year in Niklas. I think Heuerman will probably go in round 3 and will be a guy that plays for a long time but likely won't be an impact player.

Grant: now here is a guy that the Cards should look at in round 3-4. He's just a solid all around CB. He won't do anything great but he also won't do anything wrong.

Cardale Jones: who knows? It's a pretty unprecedented situation with him. How can a guy look so good yet was the #3 QB. Like I said in another thread, I'd rather him than Logan Thomas as a developmental QB. His accuracy and demeanor are very impressive and arm strength has never been an issue. But how do you take a guy based on 3, albeit out of this world, starts? In fact , I texted my scout friend yesterday and asked him about the chances of Jones being drafted and his response was a sarcastic, "well he does have 3 starts, so why not".

A guy I forgot about was Noah Spence and, YES, the Cards should take a late round chance on him. He could easily have the biggest impact of all the OSU draft eligible players. Top 15 talent.

There a couple guys who may get drafted in the late rounds or be UDFA in LB Curtis Grant, DE Steve Miller, and OT Darryl Baldwin.

As for the 2016 draft, round 1 could a Buckeye parade. DE Joey Bosa, RB Ezekial Elliot, LT Taylor Decker, S Vonn Bell(my favorite), CB Eli Apple, DL Adolphus Washington, WR Jalin Marshall, and LB Joshua Perry are all guys that will be draft eligible, if they declare, and could be called in round 1.
