IF the Cardinals go offensive tackle in round one, which do you prefer?

Probably McGlinchey due to durability. Williams is more athletic, and might hold up better vs speed rushers, but he's had some knee issues, which could be a concern moving forward. I think Williams has a higher ceiling, but really either one would be a great addition.

There is no need to draft OL in round 1 looking at all the OL guys on roster.

DL, CB and WR makes more sense
While I agree with you...having a solid O-Line is one of the most important aspects of a team. Top teams have top O-Lines, and that's not by mistake.

Having two young bookend tackles would be nice especially if Humphrey can stay healthy.

It's hard to choose between the two players without knowing what system and schemes McCoy plans to install.

Same challenge on the other side of the ball.

I suppose it depends on what you are looking for. Williams is very athletic with excellent feet. He is a natural Left tackle. McGlinchey projects to be better on the right side because he has a hard time against speed rushers. Williams biggest issue is that he has less than ideal arm length, especially on the left side.

I really like McGlinchey.... but he is an RT in the NFL

Williams can be an LT.... so if it were between the two with no other choices I would probably take Williams... because we still dont know if DJHump is even gonna work out.

McGlinchey is solid on and off the field. I'd rather add him to an offensive line room where the two starting tackles have motivational issues.

McGlinchey unless ARZ can get Colton Miller in Round 2. If ARZ can sign DRC then maybe grab aother CB later in the draft. I think #15 comes down to QB, WR, OT in that order. The OL back ups on the roster should aid in helping people understand that ARZ needs another NFL OT.

especially since they just trade Veldheer... he was a better tackle than they guy they signed to start.
I think they can get Miller in the second and he would be a great pick. Can be starting at RT by mid season.

I believe the Cardinals are looking to the defense in the first round.

But if they go offensive line it should only be after they trade back and an interior player taken. The tackles are iffy, but the interior triangle group boasts a handful of high caliber players (Nelson, Wynn, Daniels, Price, and Hernandez).

Then who do you plan on starting at left tackle in week 2 after Humpfries goes down? Also, Andre Smith is not an upgrade over Veldheer.

Also, I’d take the ND tackle over Williams all day.
