The time with the Alien still could have been milliseconds on Earth. So if she was with the Alien that looked like her Dad for 5 mins, it could still be considered 1 millisecond here on Earth. Time could be different in different worlds. Didn't you see Interstellar?
Yes, but the time shift would be in the other direction. When she was standing on the alien planet, you could see what could be construed as a black hole in the sky. This would mean she was pretty close to the event horizon, resulting in a few minutes for her equaling perhaps years for the people of earth (if one buys that science). Since we are nowhere close to a black hole, your argument is contrary to the "different times for different planets" idea, especially if it wasn't a black hole in the sky, just a wormhole opening. Anyway... if both planets were not close to a black hole, time would be similar. I am unaware of any physics that would change this.
Or.... more likely.... just a screw up in the movie....
