The Cardinals have enough holes on both sides of the ball for two teams. There are a number of ways they could go with this pick. QB is an option, but both Rodgers and Smith are already off the board. RB could be a viable pick, but Benson and Williams are both gone as well. Rolle is easily the best player available at this pick, and it also suits a team need. He is a lockdown corner who is well known for his physical style of play. He's a hard worker and, along with Jackson, Wilson, and Starks, could complete one of the most formidable secondaries in the league.

OOPS

http://www.draftstudio.com/mock.htm I would be stoked if the Cards land this guy. And they got the updated logo, That kicks ass!!!

I dont like taking a CB at #8, but if the Cards do, I hope it is Pacman Jones. His speed, aggressiveness, and tackling ability sets him apart. Not to mention he is a great punt returner.

I don't know, Batman only went 25th I can't see Pacman going 8th.

LOL at Brown at 23.

I can easily see one of the top 3 RB's dropping like a rock on draft day. After we pick there is no other team that needs a RB, who would take him between us and Seattle unless someone trades up. There are a few maybes between 8 and 23 but none that are even close to definite.

Either all 3 go in the top 8 or who ever doesnt, drops like a rock IMO.

Then maybe it would be wise for us to pass on a RB in the first round and go for a CB or LB at #8. If RBs drop like they did in the 04' draft we could really end up with a top-flight RB in round 2. That would be the perfect set-up for us.

Exactamundo!

We NEED the best defensive player available at 8. That's how this draft is shaping. Either Rolle or Johnson I think. One of those two.

If then we can get Brown at 21 or 22 I'd trade our 2nd and 4th for him, or swap 3rds with Jacksonville or Balt. YUP.
