Cooper Kupp is the biggest name on the free-agent market following his release by the Los Angeles Rams. He's been weighing his options for the last few days since being cut and could make a decision on where he'll play next as early as Friday. There are a bunch of teams in the mix to sign him, including the rival Seattle Seahawks and New Orleans Saints.
With rumors and reports flying around left and right, the situation is changing rather quickly. Here's all the latest on Kupp's big decision, including which teams are vying to sign him and what his asking price might be.
The Saints are in the mix to sign Kupp, and have "been in it." Though they're not considered a contender, Kupp could join New Orleans and help an offense that features Chris Olave and Rashid Shaheed.
Kupp was set to make $20 million from the Rams next season and he's reportedly trying to get close to that by seeking $15 million per year on his next contract.
Kupp's asking price has been a hold-up in negotiations, with some teams unwilling to offer him $13-14 million per year.
The Cowboys made a push to land Kupp but they're no longer considered the likely landing spot for the former Rams WR.
The Seahawks are one of the teams that are "very interested" in Kupp, with the other being the Cowboys. Kupp is from Washington so a move to Seattle would make sense.
The Cowboys are viewed as a sleeper team and tried to sign Kupp, who is expected to make a decision as early as today.
The Jaguars have former Rams OC Liam Coen and ex-Rams scouting director James Gladstone in their building but they're not interested in Kupp.
Teams around the NFL believe someone will be willing to offer Kupp $12 million per year, which would still be below his reported asking price.
Schefter said that if Kupp "had his way, I think he would like to be in Denver."
"I think if Cooper Kupp had his way, I think he would like to be in Denver," Schefter told Altitude Sports. "I think that'd be one of the places that would appeal to him. That I would say -- I feel comfortable in saying that."
The Patriots are interested in Kupp, but his asking price is an issue at the moment, and they would only sign him if the cost was within their range.
The Raiders are interested in Kupp, but it's unclear how much they'd be willing to pay and whether Kupp would want to play for a team that's rebuilding.

WR Cooper Kupp's asking price has been as high as $15M per year, per sources. It sounds like he'd take less for a preferred destination. But if teams are willing to hit $15M, it would widen the list of landing spots.

Regarding WR Cooper Kupp's market, I've heard from a handful of teams that believe someone will be willing to offer him around $12M per year. That'll be too much for some teams that aren't in on him. But like anything in free agency, it's fluid, and we'll see if that number…
