On BBC, Holy Cow, set in New York during the Civil War, it is a very graphic and good show. I'm hooked.

Got 3/4 through the first episode and just couldn't get into it. As usual for BBC products the period stuff is done very well, but the main characters just weren't that interesting.

I've DVR'd it. Haven't watched yet.

Currently, I'm geeking out by catching up for the new season of Doctor Who.

Fantastic show. I'm loving the characters, so that isn't a problem for me. Just found out about it and caught up on the 3 episodes.

I just watched the first episode and I am totally in.

I love the history of Five Points.

Felt like the first episode was awkward as most new shows are, but love NY period stuff. Its gotten better each week since. I'm digging it a lot. Having a hard time with all the background CGI, but the story and charaters make up for cheesy production quality.

Oh, and BBC America started re running all of the Luther series. Had never heard of it until I saw their ad for it. Its also available from Netflix streaming. FANTASTIC show.
