I'm gonna have to find another chanell to watch on Sundays.. That was some straight BS last weekend..
Watching the Christian Right struggle to counter "Cosmos" each week is like watching a frightened, cornered animal that knows it's about to die.
People like to crap on Fox for being so far extreme right...cosmos should discredit that they basically just promoted evolution on the greatest stage.

Mr. MacFarlane took a certain perverse pleasure that Fox’s entertainment division was backing “Cosmos,” even while its Fox News division presented positions he decried in his speech at the Library of Congress.
“They are hurting and helping at the same time,” Mr. MacFarlane said of Fox, his tongue somewhat in cheek. “In that sense, I suppose it’s incumbent upon Fox to do something like this, to make up for all the damage it’s done with its news network.”
But, ultimately, Mr. MacFarlane did not expect the series to inflame political sensibilities of any stripe. “There are no politics in ‘Cosmos,’ ” he said. “All ‘Cosmos’ does is present what we know in the most fun, entertaining way possible.”
so, what is it? What time is it on?
It's a reboot of the old science show by the same name that was hosted by Carl Sagan on PBS.
It's on Sunday nights in prime time and replayed on other cable networks later in the week I believe.
It will look amazing on your new TV!
It is glorious. degrasse Tyson is a hero of mine.
It is also available via Hulu Plus.
I think most of that ire is directed towards the news division of Fox, not the entertainment division.
From Cosmos Exec. Producer Seth MacFarlane:

Sheldon Cooper would not be pleased with you.

Here's the only channel I could find that doesn't use science:

I haven't seen one episode of Big Bang Theory. It is in my watch list though, as soon as someone will start streaming it.
It's not that I care that science is on tv.. I care what day it is on.. I used to enjoy watching FOX on Sundays.. I don't care about this show and it kills Sunday TV for me.. I watched the first 10 - 15 minutes or so of the first night this show was on, and was completely bored and irritated..

Fox the corporation only gives a crap about money. When the corporation split, 20th Century Fox and Fox broadcast network were placed in the entertainment wing. Want to guess where they placed Fox News? That's right folks, with the entertainment division.
its on ch. 45 every night at 9pm. I watch it because its on when I go to bed. At first its lame but once you get to know the charectors it is entertaining.
