People like to crap on Fox for being so far extreme right...cosmos should discredit that they basically just promoted evolution on the greatest stage.

I think most of that ire is directed towards the news division of Fox, not the entertainment division.

From Cosmos Exec. Producer Seth MacFarlane:

Mr. MacFarlane took a certain perverse pleasure that Fox’s entertainment division was backing “Cosmos,” even while its Fox News division presented positions he decried in his speech at the Library of Congress.

“They are hurting and helping at the same time,” Mr. MacFarlane said of Fox, his tongue somewhat in cheek. “In that sense, I suppose it’s incumbent upon Fox to do something like this, to make up for all the damage it’s done with its news network.”

But, ultimately, Mr. MacFarlane did not expect the series to inflame political sensibilities of any stripe. “There are no politics in ‘Cosmos,’ ” he said. “All ‘Cosmos’ does is present what we know in the most fun, entertaining way possible.”

so, what is it? What time is it on?

It's a reboot of the old science show by the same name that was hosted by Carl Sagan on PBS.

It's on Sunday nights in prime time and replayed on other cable networks later in the week I believe.

It will look amazing on your new TV!

We certainly could use more intelligent, charismatic people out there instead of the blowhards who get the airtime now.

Sheldon Cooper would not be pleased with you.

I haven't seen one episode of Big Bang Theory. It is in my watch list though, as soon as someone will start streaming it.

Here's the only channel I could find that doesn't use science:

It's not that I care that science is on tv.. I care what day it is on.. I used to enjoy watching FOX on Sundays.. I don't care about this show and it kills Sunday TV for me.. I watched the first 10 - 15 minutes or so of the first night this show was on, and was completely bored and irritated..

Hulu? Sweet! I will check it out for sure then.

Strange its by seth mcfarlane but I will keep my expectations to nothing and see what its all about.

its on ch. 45 every night at 9pm. I watch it because its on when I go to bed. At first its lame but once you get to know the charectors it is entertaining.

I personally love educational television of most types. Its a great alternative to the de-education most of america is watching instead:

Gotcha. I apologize for jumping to a conclusion there.

I don't suppose the show is for everybody, but I'm sure there are a couple of options out there for you waiting to be found.

Fox the corporation only gives a crap about money. When the corporation split, 20th Century Fox and Fox broadcast network were placed in the entertainment wing. Want to guess where they placed Fox News? That's right folks, with the entertainment division.

I can't watch shows like that in syndication really. I like to watch them from the beginning.
