Mike Hazen told @WolfandLuke he expects the 2025 payroll to be in a similar spot as 2024, give or take. "We're going to have plenty amount of resources to have a winning team next year."

Dbacks manager Torey Lovullo said after hiring pitching coach, next priority is to name asst. pitching coach, bullpen coach and 3B/infield coach. "We're very close on the next set of pitching guys. We have names and a really good feel for what we're looking for in those guys."
I love this hire. Helped coach and develop the best pitching staff in Philly last year. Definitely an up and comer

Im OK with trading him if his $$$ expectation is unreal - he failed multiple times of stopping losing streaks etc as a #1. H e also often started off bad digging a hole or fading giving up big innings in the 4th/5th. He is a solid #2 but not worth #1 $

Nah, a lefty who can hit lefties and not need to be replaced in the lineup is almost priceless.

He’s okay vs lefties. I’d rather keep him over Gurriel but nobody is taking that contract. McCarthy has the most value but sucks in CF.

Thomas is selling low and McCarthy is selling high. Thomas was a top 20 prospect for a reason

Okay? He hit .286 vs Righties and .284 vs Lefties in 2024... basically the same, but no HRs vs Lefties in 2024.
