yeah i dont plan on even turning it on until later in the week with the kids. Tomorrow is my teenagers birthday so shes staying the night with friends tonight and etc. Might even wait to play it with my son and my daughter Sunday night. The game is very, VERY difficult single player. You have to control both chefs in single player. It is designed to be played multiplayer. FYI.
Well, if it has the Bee stamp of approval, I'll see if the Mrs is into it. Good excuse to buy another controller while I'm on the subject.

I guess the sale ended new years eve
Best Cooperative Multiplayer: Overcooked
Forget your shooters – this year's best co-op experience took place in a kitchen, not on a battlefield. Overcooked's riotous culinary challenges serve up the best kind of couch co-op, requiring you to frantically coordinate with (i.e., boss around) your fellow chefs in order to get dinner on the table. With countless variations and a charming art style, Ghost Town Games proves that a simple concept can go a long way.
game informers best of 2016 includes:
If you guys have any local co-op multiplayer possibilities, pickup Overcooked Holiday Bundle. This game is so much fun. I even got Linda to play it and she doesn't game much at all. It is by far one of my favorite games of 2016.
It really is a ton of fun. Your kids will have fun playing with you. Each level presents its own set of challenges, and it's fun collaborating with your teammate on what is the best way to be the most efficient, etc. If you get it, then we can challenge each other for high scores!
... If I was a chef he would be fired!
Moving stages are super annoying, especially when the ground raises and you are stuck. seems like a 4th player would make a HUGE difference as once dishes start coming in, there is more work than 3 people can handle.
I would only do it if someone wants to play coop with you. As a single player game I would hate it.I may be reconsidering now because I lived all this for real in a previous "career".
more and more it feels like you need a 4th chef for this game

Which one is that?We got to like the 4th world in overcooked and simply cannot earn any more stars. We keep trying but ultimately I think my son is just not good at it and its holding us back.

DCR & I finished the main game w/3 stars on each, despite my extremely limited abilities, lol. We relied heavily on his superior gaming skills. There were a few that took us a zillion tries, it seemed, though.
