The Cowboys made a few rosters moves on Monday, and then told those players to get right to work. After waiving Richard Ash due to a knee injury sustained on Saturday night, and placing Jameill Showers on injured reserve due to an ACL tear, Dallas had two openings on their 90-man offseason roster. The front office quickly moved to fill those voids, signing defensive tackle Caraun Reid, from head coach Jason Garrett’s alma mater of Princeton, and UDFA safety Dominick Sanders. Sanders played his college ball at Georgia. The Cowboys have been rumored to be looking for additional help at defensive tackle for a while, Ash’s injury notwithstanding.
