Next year, I hope we have enough highlights of actual football games to fill the entire half hour show instead of focusing on what we will be doing in the future.

You can count on it.

What other stations come with the sports tier?

I am assuming you live in Rhode Island based on your user profile. If so, I don't know if the channel line up is different than it is in Phoenix for Cox customers.

Here in Phoenix, the Cox Digital Sports Tier is:

162 NFL Network
163 Fit TV
165 ESPNews
166 ESPN Classic
167 Fox Soccer Channel
168 NBA TV
169 Outdoor Life Network
170 Fox College Sports Atlantic (shows a lot of college football/basketball)
171 Fox College Sports Central (shows a lot of college football/basketball)
172 Fox College Sports Pacific (shows a lot of college football/basketball)
173 Fuel
174 Weatherscan Local
175 Bloomberg
176 G4TechTV

I forgot-

to add, that one of the best things about watching the Cardinals on the NFL Channel if getting to see the pep talks that coach Green gave them and the intereaction his has with the team. You never get to see that comraderie just watching the news. Those locker room scenes are pricless.

i get all those channels except for the NFL Network and the college sports and i dont have to pay for a sports tier. I think i cant get the NFL Network which kinda pisses me off. I hop i can get it but if thats the sports tier than i doubt i do.

Try free. I called and bitched that they were giving all these great deals out to new subscribers, but I couldn't get improved equipment and I was going to Cox or Dish. The girl was really nice and asked, 'what do you want to have?'. I got 2 additional rooms to go with my other 2, and a DVR for no additional. Stick that in your Cox.

It looked pretty damn good on my Cox Cable and even better on my DVR which I didn't have to pay $699.00 for.

You both got HD DVR's?
Maybe I should have made myself clearer, but as of right now DTV will charge new coutomers $699.00 for an HD DVR. If in fact you got HD DVRs, you got a good deal.

I think he's talking about HD DVRs. They used to be $999 but the price is coming down.

Standard Tivo DVRs are free for subscribers.

Just called to add the Sports tier. It actually lowered my price $2 a month by adding it to my account. I reached another bundle discount by adding it or something.

I'm not complaining though! NFL Network here I come!
