Per Coyotes coach Rick Tocchet, defenseman Jakob Chychrun will make his season debut tonight in Vegas against the Golden Knights. Incredible story that he is ready to play so soon. “He worked his ass off,” Tocchet said.

Coach Rick Tocchet said goalie Antti Raanta will be evaluated tomorrow before determining if he’s ready to play Thursday in Boston. No update on D Nik Hjalmarsson. Tocchet did not sound optimistic on that front.

Looks like #Yotes D Kyle Capobianco will be thrown in the fray right away as he is expected to make his NHL debut tonight in Boston. Tocchet said on Tuesday he wasn’t sure he’d get the 20-year-old in a game.

Coyotes/Roadrunners goalie Marek Langhamer was loaned to Komata Brno of the Czech Extraliga today, GM John Chayka confirmed. This has been a possibility since the start of the season & relieves a logjam of prospects at the position in the system. The Coyotes still own his rights.
