The Coyotes have recalled D Kyle Capobianco from Tucson (AHL) and re-assigned Andrew Campbell to Tucson.

Coyotes announce that forward Emerson Etem has informed them he no longer wants to play in the AHL and is pursuing other options. The Coyotes have terminated his contract.

The Coyote signed Etem to a one-year, two-way contract on July 5 but he did not make the team out of camp. He had four goals and five points in 16 games with Tucson of the AHL.

Coyotes GM John Chayka said the main reason to claim Freddie Hamilton off waivers was to add depth & allow the team to keep its young players developing in Tucson instead of shuttling between the NHL & AHL due to roster needs.
