Coyotes GM John Chayka said he had a lot of discussions but the day was mainly built around teams making playoff pushes. Chayka felt to move players on expiring contracts the offer had to exceed the value they brought to the Coyotes.

The #Coyotes have acquired forward Pierre-Cedric Labrie and defenseman Trevor Murphy from Nashville for Tyler Gaudet and John Ramage. The Roadrunners have acquired Derek Army from the Milwaukee Admirals for future considerations.
