Coyotes coach Rick Tocchet said D Alex Goligoski failed a concussion test after a boarding penalty on Dallas' Brett Ritchie on Monday. He'll be tested again today. 8 regulars currently out of lineup: Raanta, Demers, Chychrun, Goligoski, Schmaltz, Grabner, Richardson, Dvorak.

Hearing D Jason Demers (knee) will practice with the Coyotes today in a non-contact jersey. Demers has been out since November when he suffered the knee injury late in a win against Nashville. Since sustaining the injury, he has vowed he would return the season.

Also hearing that C Brad Richardson (hand) is nearing a return, possibly within a week, but further evaluation will be needed. The Coyotes will decide in the next few days whether C Christian Dvorak (pectoral) will go to Tucson for a conditioning stint and some games.

Per president of hockey ops John Chayka, C Christian Dvorak won't go to Tucson (AHL) this weekend for a conditioning stint/games. The staff will review the plan after a few more practices. The feeling is that Dvorak is fully healthy, but needs reps, work -- a quasi-training camp.

The #Coyotes this morning assigned center Christian Dvorak to Tucson (AHL) for a conditioning stint. Coyotes don’t return home until Sunday, Feb. 24, so that could be an interesting target date for return.
