There's an arms race going on in the West right now. Suns might be wise to bide their time and stick to the 2020 plan. Maybe facilitate some trades and unload Tyson Chandler to one of the contenders for future assets of course.

Why would you rather have Jordan than Griffin? He's 29 and will receive $46 million over the next 2 years. Does he bring that much more to the table than Tyson Chandler who costs half that?
Also, I don't understand how Paul is a fit for the Rockets. The whole narrative behind D'Antoni's COY season and Harden's MVP runner-up was that Harden had been made the point guard. He's supposed to go back to playing off the ball now? Or Paul becomes a spot-up shooter? We've seen over and over that having two "primary" ball-handlers doesn't work.
