I think the Card team in my life time that was most fun to watch was the one with Conrad, Randle, Jim Hart, and that great offensive line. They may not have been the best but they sure were exciting to watch and I think that is where the tern the Cardiac Cardinals originated. Even if they were not going to win a division they were worth the price of admission and gave you there money's worth.

It still hurts to think about 1964 and giving Lombardi's Packers their only post-season loss.

The Cards have always been a hard luck team. They tied Cleveland and then beat them in the 2nd game but since only one team made the playoffs the Cards finished a half game back and Cleveland won the title.

Then in 1970 the Cards beat Dallas 20-7 and 38-0 yet the Cowboys won the NFC title and went to the Super Bowl and the Cards didn't even make the playoffs. Has any team ever had a 5 game stretch where they outscored their opponents 142-20 and not made the playoffs? You gotta love Cardinal football.

I went to my first Cards game in Comiskey Park in 1958.....

A good competition then. He was 26 when you went to that game! Long time hard core fans!!!!!!!!!!
