The Cards haven't released the numbers for tickets sales yet.

Doubt it will come close to selling out. That first home game was so brutally hot last year. Almost certainly will be again. Even with the Pat Tillman Ceremony and Superbowl Champs, Dennis Green debut, I would be shocked to see 55 thousand. They should have given us the Sunday night game.

would have made huge difference agreed though never very likely

shame though a few bums on seats a good game with matching atmosphere - and who knows we might have seen a few coming back in later weeks! still hope theres a decent crowd and a great win and the stayaways wishing they had got off there backsides

I think the crowd will be bigger than normal just because of the Pat Tillman tribute, but I doubt it will be close to a sellout. 50,000 would be good and I expect about that many.

PS - Thanks for getting me hooked on the FA Cup last season. I now follow Sunderland almost religiously. I really didn't need a new team to follow. I had to listen to the playoff game and penalt kicks shootout against Palace on the internet and it was torture.

Hard to believe that the new season starts next weekend. What do you think of the changes in the squad? I think Liam Lawrence was a good signing.

Cheers and "Ha'way the Lads!"
