TJ's Reason: They have Aaron Rodgers.
Boom: With apologies to the Cards and Lions, there is no dominant defense like last year and that is great for Rodgers.

Just gloss over the fact they have exactly 2 wins vs. teams with a winning record. And, oh yeah, the last time they faced that "non dominant" defense of the Lions they put up a whopping 7 points.

The old saying is that defense wins championships but a hot offense is always the flashy shining object that gets people's attention. If you flipped flopped the side of the ball that the Cards are stronger on, then they would be judged as the best in the NFC considering their record.

Let them talk the Packers up. It'll just be that much better when we beat them in the playoffs.

I have no problem with it given Rodgers & that explosive offense

The NFL Countdown crew are like little kids attracted to the latest gadget. First it was Manning then Brady then it was Roethlisberger, now it's Rodgers. Next week it's going to be whoever throws for mega TD's. The Cards aren't flashy enough to get their attention and that's ok.

This game is the reason why no one believes in us. I don't blame them.

Really - a loss at a desperate Seattle is to be expected. However, when did we last score a TD?

I don't blame them. Other than Hostetler and Morrill, very few backup QBs have led their teams deep into the postseason.

It sure did seem like 1/2 the board thought we would beat em. Must win in Atlanta or we might be in deep doodoo

This game will say a lot about whether the Cards offense can somehow flip the switch. Atlanta's D is pretty lackluster. If we don't put up a minimum of 20 pts against the Falcons, we may not be able to score enough points to win another game this year.
