My prediction is that this is gonna suck. They went back and reshot most of the movie (the first version had a role w/ Scott Baio that I'm told is excised from the film), then butchered it again (pun intended) to make it "PG-13" instead of "R".

Too bad, cause Craven and Willaimson were a great team for a while and there hasn't been a real good (American) werewolf movie released in a while.

Saw this at a screening w/ Colin Boyd last night. This movie should have been called Sucked instead.

Am I the only one here who misses the old days of prosthetic makeup effects? The computer generated images work when used effectively with the proper budget, but half-assed CGI work looks like a cheesy Playstation cutscene. In a horror movie, this makes the audience giggle at scenes you hope would frighten them. That was one of the main problems with the film - the wolf effects were so hideously lame that it was impossible to not be completely distracted by most of the "terror" scenes. Gimme American Werewolf in London or even the recent Dog Soldiers over this POS

It should be noted that even had the effects lived up to their potential the story was so ridiculous and the dialogue so horrible (I couldn't believe that this was the same Kevin Williamson who wrote Scream 1&2) that this movies was . . . well, cursed no matter what.

Beware!
