There is some serious bandwidth on this site devoted to cutting players that aren't performing to the fan's liking. In some cases, I think this is crazy talk.
Rackers. Is he playing lights out like he did last year? No. Has he had some costly misses? Yes. Should we cut him? No. That's crazy talk. Who would you replace him with?
Davis. Now, here's a worthy conversation. He's not earning his ginourmous salary. Unfortunately, we're entering the waekest FA period for tackles that I can remember. If the Cards cut Davis to save the Bidwills a few more bucks, who starts? and, more importantly is the team on the field better off for it?
It wasn't too long ago that people wanted Wilson's head on a platter, and even more recently, Dansbys. Cutting either of these players also falls into the "lunacy" category, IMO.
