He won't need to sit Parra to play Eaton. Just have Eaton, Parra and Ross as the regular starters.
What do you do with Kubel then?

Who cares? Kubel and Ross can platoon doing the lefty righty thing...
Bibby got smart and left McCarthy in. Lesson learned. Now, our BP is well rested and ready to not blow anymore leads![]()
I'm fine with that but that's a lot of money to pay guys to platoon.
With Parra leading the league in hits and constantly on fire at the plate, able to play LF, CF and RF, AJ Pollock (batting .242, following a .247 last season) will be the 4th outfielder. What do you do with Kubel then?
They get paid the same either way, as long as we win, who cares?
Seems as if Parra looks pretty good in the lead-off role
From Steve Gilbert on MLB.com: "According to the Elias Sports Bureau, Parra is the first player to homer on the first pitch of a nine-inning 1-0 win since Pete Rose did it for the 1963 Reds."
WTF is up with this umpire crew? Gee-a-zuz.... they just blew the stolen base call in the 2nd inning. Wow.... just wow. A big blown call in each game of the series...... C'mon MLB.... get on these guys!
I hate to complain about missed calls but this is really getting bad.
Cody Ross didn't get hit on the elbow but the ump said he did. Another blown call... But at least this one was in our favor!
It was nice to see Miggy draw a walk against the lefty pitcher instead of being the final out in the 9th and Gibby showing confidence in him. It will be beneficial in the long run, too.
