Lol. 4th place in the division at best is something special?
3rd place. Dbacks beat out the Rockies and Giants easy.
Wasn't it a 20 game improvement based on mostly youth? Now imagine if Melancon hadn't led the majors in losses despite only pitching in the 9th inning for 3/4 of the season

I'm talking about where we stand in the division. Do you predict anyone will have us better than 4th in the division with the offseason "changes"?

I predict we will be higher than 4th based on the development of a few players. It's early, but right now, we win 80-85 games with this roster as is. Add 2 average arms in the bullpen and I'll say we could hit 90 wins.
If players continue to develop and Jones is for real, we'll win in the high 90s in 2024.

I appreciate the optimism, but who in the NL West outside of the Rockies are we going to beat? Barring incredible progress, I see 24 as our first real attempt to make some noise.
