I actually could see them biting on a Young, Hairston (who incidentally is absolutely killing the ball in Tucson), Julio and Montero for Willis deal. Call me crazy, but I think that's entirely realistic.

Doubt it. They're going to want at least some starting pitching back.

Valverde has been fine, for the most part -- 1.25 WHIP, 13 saves in 18 games, only 1 Loss. He has a substantially harder time against lefty batters, but this move doesn't do anything to help with that.
