My buddy who is a Rams fan texted me this morning saying"wtf the Cards got Jackson?". I told him I didn't see or hear anything about that. Then I read this later on today.

Don't know if he's coming here but I doubt it. Like I said it's just a rumor.

The cards have a good amount of cap tied up in the WR position I don't think they could take on what Jackson gets as well.

Would make no sense as we just picked up Ginn, although Jackson is better they both have the same skill sets.

With Fitz, Floyd, and Ginn already signed and ready to go it makes no sense to acquire Jackson. The only way you get Jackson is if you are not seeing Fitz as a long term WR for you after this season.

That said can you imagine having two WRs that can blow the lid off the top of a defense with Floyd and Fitz lurking underneath.

You gotta love the confidence they have in that. We can't name who the other team is, and of course it might not actually happen, but it's a done deal right now.

Whoa now, let's not make ANY statements that we shouldn't get him because we have Ginn. It's like saying we have a '95 Dodge Omni, so we shouldn't pick up a '12 Cobalt. Sure, the Cobalt isn't the best car out there, but it's worlds above the clunky old Omni.

The Niners dont have the cap space for him. My guess is the Raiders or

Jets is where he goes. They have the need and the cap space. Imagine

if the Raiders got Jackson and Watkins/ASJ.

I will.

I'd rather have Ginn given the choice. Jackson may be better, but Ginn is a better fit for the Cardinals and the role they need.

I personally think D.Jackson is vastly overrated, and last year was more because of Chip Kelly's offense than Jackson's skill. Philly obviously agrees, since they are currently shopping him.

Not to mention D.Jackson is nothing without his speed, and that speed is going to start dropping off, thus leaving him with nothing to bring to the table.

Not to mention Jackson's attitude sucks, and would be looking to be paid twice as much as Ginn. Leave that hot mess for the Raiders to over pay for.

That Cobalt seems to have problems with its starter, and doesn't run well, or at all when conditions get rough.

This is stupid. Jackson is 27 years old. Taking Ginn over Jackson? Are you stupid. Obviously we have other needs to fill and don't want to give him a big contract but Jackson is the same type of player as Ginn but 10x better.

Ginn is useless without his speed. What if LeBron were only 6'2. What if Fitz didn't have a right hand. Stupid argument to use for Ginn when he does have his speed and it's not going anywhere soon since he's 27.

No one will trade for Jackson. 10.5 million plus a draft choice. Not gonna happen.
