Most of us didn't have to watch a replay. Washington's speed on that play was well noted in the game thread. He looked like he was Usain Washington.

I like that. DWash play Usain Defense.

hell, DD was right there blocking the way to the TD as well. A phenomenal team effort all around. The dedication to their teammates on this D is almost hard to believe. Poor Dockett was huffing and puffing all the way back to the sideline right after when they were kicking the PAT

It's no wonder he has a sore hamstring. That dude was running balls out as a lineman the full 93 yards. We got some studs on this team.

This team fights for each other to make plays. Most teams give it lip service, but I actually believe it with the Cards.

On that play, what was amazing was Washington's burst. He comes from the rear of the pack, he's 6 to 7 yards behind Sanders when Sanders scoops the ball and starts upfield. He not only catches and passes Sanders, he gets there before McCoy can which shouldn't happen. McCoy had to take more of an angle, but you'd think he'd have superior jets and could've knocked Sanders out of bounds.

Also, Vick was looking at DeSean Jackson on a slant the whole way. If Peterson hadn't jumped that route and taken it away, Vick would've got the ball off when he hit the third step of his drop like he was supposed to.

Hell, the way Fitz was chasing them into the end zone, I thought he was going to throw a block. Hopefully this time it wouldn't be a block in the back though :D.

Great replay and makes D Wash look even better. Not only did PP jump that route so did D Wash, if Vick throws that it's 2 Cards competing over who picks it.

I also got a chuckle out of DeSean trying to draw a block in the back on Acho by running in front of him and then basically decelerating and falling down. He'd run all that way already why not try to make a tackle?

We were very lucky to not get a penalty on Fitz running the sideline, he wasn't far behind them.

+1.

Says a lot more when your towing 300 lbs. It is easy to say, "Bah, let the fast guys handle that noise."

Dockett is playing at another level this year, and it is all mental. Something happened this offseason to ground him, methinks.

Do you really think so or could it be that guys like Dockett have been playing at that level all along and they finally have a surrounding cast and coaching staff to make it all pay off?

I remember posting in 2008 that Calais Campbell was faster than JJ Arrington because of the way CC was hustling down field on a JJ kickoff return for a TD. How does a guy 6'8" and 300lbs run a 4.85 forty?

dunno if it was grounding as much as maturing, but his quote about not leaving and getting his ring as a Card said a lot to me

I love Fitz' run and his statement that he just wanted to be part of it. The defense has been absolutely inspiring, and I'd be willing to bet the offense is getting motivated by it rather than feeling overshadowed or complacent (not that I'd ever suspect Fitz of the latter).

....and I am just speechless over the TEAM effort....DWash's speed is insane....this is about year 34 for me as a Cardinals fan, and this feeling of "our Defense can beat anybody" is completely foeign to me (yet so beautiful and enjoyable)......the '72 Dolphins are on notice! #JustSayin
