I truly believe it is the ultimate barometer which will determine if we have a winning season or not. Not that there aren't lots of games left, but more in the sense that if we can't beat Dallas at home, especially after our showing in the first 2 games, it will show emphatically that we should have no pretense of being a .500 team.
If we beat a slow Cowboy team which appears a bit "distracted" at present, we probably deserve the hope we have of a successful season. If not, that hope is a pipe dream, and worst of all to me, we will once again become irrelevant in the minds of the rest of the pro football community. "Cardinals are up next ... quick, cut to commercial."
