I just don't like him...never did. He used to annoy the hell out of me when I lived in glendale and watched all of the suns games. I don't mind any of the other suns guys. he just stands out as a guy that is annoying. This was an interesting story i just read about shawn marion coming back to phx.

yuck Eddie Johnson is decent. Leander, Williams, Kempton those guys are truly terrible.
maybe so, I don't remember all of those guys that well. I just know EJ used to annoy me when I watched. hearing EJ bashing on Jason Terry for yelling at his teammate on a broken play. then in the next sentence he says its ok for chris paul to yell at his teammates because he's competitive. that's why he is annoying to watch.
clyde drexler annoys me much worse when I watch the houston broadcast. maybe there it is the rocket connection? lol...

I watch Suns games with the song "macarena" on. Makes it so much more enjoyable.
Try it , its hilarious when the opposing team misses a shot, gets their own rebound, misses again, rebounds it again, and then misses again, only to rebound it again and either get fouled by Frye or make the shot.

Whatever. I like EJ a lot and really enjoy listening to him. Probably the same reasons I don't like your announcers. They're homers.
just saying i don't like him, which is just my opinion. but yes you are correct it is a homer broadcast not national so it won't always be professional. the mavs broadcast has a radio DJ who is a moron and they let him on tv.

EJ is a bit of a homer. In fact, if you listened to him long enough he will admit it. Having said that he has criticized players openly about their play and is very good at his basketball insight. He brings things up from a player perspective that you sometimes don't think about.
He is one of the very few tolerable local guys IMO and I like him as well.
suns announcers are the most unbiased i hear. listening to the knicks, and just about everyone else is god awful...homers and way biased.
ej is the best out of what we have. williams is just terrible and whateverhis name is annoying like others have pointed out. ej is tollerable.
