I just finished watching the replay from CBS. Man this guy is just bitter tool. I could not stand his negative attitude towards the Cards.

You have an example? I didn't think he was bad.

Really, the only negative thing he said was that Pittsburgh TD on 3rd and 26. What do you expect him to say on a play like that?
I thought he and Gumble did a great calling of the game. By far the best Cardinals broadcast I have ever seen.
I have always liked Dan. He was part of the best all-time Monday Night Football crew.
More bitter than Boomer Esiason?
then they asked if he had a choice which one would he rather be in, rams or cards. He said that he is lucky to be in both and that if he had to choose that he would choose the rams, then he said if the Cardinals had a different owner it would be a different story.
So far, I've only watched the replay for the second half, but what I watched, I couldn't help but be embarrassed for Dan because he was letting his love of the Cardinals show through. I suspect that since this was probably the first time he's called a Cardinals game since his Monday Night Football days, he probably relished being able to call a victory.
As to his opinion of the Bidwill family: have we already forgotten how he admonished the crowd during his Ring of Honor induction speech?
I'm still wondering whether I heard him correctly when Karlos Dansby hurt his arm and I heard him say something like "thank goodness!" (Re-watch the tape; it sure sounded if that's what he said).
