I told myself after this loss, I would not care. I will watch the games and root but not be upset with anymore losses after losing in this fashion...but to kick a 61 yarder with that confidence and see Feeley miss from 38 yards out, I feel robbed whether it be the Cardinals or not. That was just wrong. You hear me football gods, insignificant me is screaming at you with my pitiful little fist raised in the air.

I heard the OL are all betting junkies and they bet large sums against the Cardinals every week hence the tipped ball on the FG.

I still don't understand the "I don't care anymore" attitude. Only a fan when winning?

I mean the depths of concern. The deal is that I am a die hard fan which means I really get upset with loses and when I say not care, I mean able to brush it off in comparison how it usually affects me. Ya' feel me lol

I can say this, since 1975. I have never stopped watching a Cardinal game, no matter how bad they have lost. I think you understand me now :)

(I mean the following to be more sympathetic and don't mean to sound harsh but...)

Get used to it. It's football. There will always be gut-wrenching things that happen. There will always be other teams who are better than us and luckier than us just as there will be other teams who seem to be unfairly snakebit.

You want "fair", go visit Judge Phil."

It is what it is. Yesterday was our day for biting the big one. There will be better days (I just hope they come sooner and more frequently).

I don't know about that. I have been a fan since 1967 and have felt more pain following this team than fans of most other teams. Long time Cardinal football fans haven't had a balanced amount of anguish. Will never stop watching but we have been put through quite a bit over the years.

LOL, I like the disclaimer before the post Jeff. There is this old flick with Yul Brynner called Kings of the Sun about these Mayans in exile trying to form a colony on the Texas coastline and they end up getting in conflict with the local plains tribe which Yul Brynner's character is chief. They capture Brynner's character and intend to sacrifice him to their gods. To this Brynner replies "It is not the dying that disturbs me, it is the manner of it" ...many a Cardinal loss feels like that. It is not losing that disturbs me but the manner of it :D

Jet - I have to remind you about our most recent streak of close wins (specifically the game when the other team missed a chip shot FG to hand us the W).

Think the other team felt "unlucky?" Think we pulled that game out of our butt? Yesterday "the bahr ate us."

I hate that im happy it was tipped.

Because its either that or Feely choked.

But that also means that our Oline gave up the triple crown trifecta of _____ Olines.

- Safety
- 5 sakcs
- blocked FG

How is that even possible?

I used to let a cardinal loss ruin my entire week. But after years of that I began to realize it isn't worth letting it ruin your week or even your day. I bleed cardinal red, but I don't let it run my life anymore. Not with how bad this team has been for the majority of the time.
