Who will the New York Giants select third overall in the 2025 NFL draft? That is the million dollar question but a consensus appears to be forming.

Mere hours after ESPN's Mel Kiper Jr. mocked Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders to the Giants, NFL Network's Daniel Jeremiah agreed and did the same.

I’ll be curious to see what the Giants do here. If Abdul Carter is available at No. 3, that might change things, but in this scenario, they secure their answer at quarterback.

In Jeremiah's mock, the Tennessee Titans took Miami quarterback at No. 1 overall and the Cleveland Browns nabbed Carter at No. 2 overall, so that scenario didn't play out. However, if the Browns go in a different direction come April, general manager Joe Schoen would be hard-pressed to pass on the Penn State edge rusher.

Sanders has been falling down draft boards and even Jeremiah has him ranked as his 18th overall prospect, down three spots from the previous rankings. But with the Giants in such dire need of a young quarterback, most believe they are likely to overdraft Sanders.

It's not the position the Giants want to be in but they have no one to blame but themselves.
