I never heard Boldin express the wish to be in our ring of honor. And then promptly bail. Again. I feel like the jilted girlfriend who thinks she can change her man, but he just keeps cheating and cheating. Lol

But as Bogey said in Casablanca, 'we'll always have Paris' meaning the 2009 Super Bowl run. That may be the closest Karlos ever comes to a ring.

He will take the Browns the the Super Bowl. Heck, he might have already done it twice today alone depending on how much fiber he gets.

He's going to be on Sirius soon but they introduced him as Karlos Dansberry.

Did Dansberry walk off the field pouting instead of celebrating NFC championship?

I think it's funny some of the biggest Boldin supporters are calling Dansby money hungry and bashing him. Boldin is the exact same way and some people still love him.

For me I'm not bashing him BECAUSE he wants money. I'm bashing because at this point in his career he wants it more than winning. The guy has probably made about 50+ million bucks in his career and could have stayed making probably anther 5 to 6 per year for a couple years and had a legitimate shot at some meaningful games that matter on a team with tons of talent.

Instead he chose purgatory on a team that has no QB and is largely considered the worst team in the NFL btw in talent and management. The guy is going to be 33 during the season and talks all the time about his "legacy" and like people have said about wanting to be in the ring of honor etc.. To me it makes no sense. Especially when you supposedly care about winning. Its all good the real Dansby came out to play again.. He is about one thing.

I also stated that if he NEEDS this contract to set himself up he's a moron considering what he's made already ;)

Wanna commit career suicide by signing with a dumpster fire organization in America's toilet bowl? Ok

I'd leave you all in a heart beat in that stage of my career for that kind of cheese bro.
That is some fat stack, I'd even move to Cleveland for that cheddar.

What were the prospects about the Cardinals going into last season when Dansby decided to join the team? Personally I was thinking a 5-11, 6-10 type record. I don't recall too many folks predicting a 10-6 season given the division we play in.

That just goes to show you never know. The Browns really were not all that bad last year. Throw on top of that a huge discrepancy in dough, and I don't really see what is so hard about understanding this move. The "possibility" of winning is just that. Looking at the divisions I don't really see where there is such a no-brainer decision.

Does the dirty bird celebration turn into the dirty dump in Cleveland?

Dansby's huge new contract was his gamble that he took and won when he signed with the Cards last year for a 1-year contract. That one year worked great for both the Cards and for Dansby. We got good (some will claim great) play for a small price and Dansby had the opportunity to showcase his skills for his next contract.

I can't believe the whiners who think that this professional athlete should stick around and forsaken millions so their feelings won't be hurt. Dansby is probably just heartbroken that some of the fans are upset that he didn't stay and play for a really reduced payday. Take the arguments about how much Dansby has made in the past to your own bank and see how much it is worth. FA shows just how much loyalty teams have toward players who have given everything to the team---as soon they are a step slower, coming back from major injury, or making one penny more than the team thinks they are worth----the player gets cut and thrown out on the street.

Stop the crybaby whimpering about Dansby leaving. He performed and has been able to cash in. Case closed.

Workin great for him because to him it's all about the Benjamins.

Yeah, I know the money was the deal, but he left twice for losing organizations. You'd think that continually playing for bad teams would wear on you at some point.

Should we talk about how Keim had a clear choice to make between Daryl Washington and giving Dansby a market deal? Anything the Cards could've gotten from Dansby would be more than the nothing the Daryl Washington has delivered since we cut him a $10M check.

Did they think he was going to be playing this year and last and didn't want to fork at what, another $1 million for him. It would have been well worth it.
