They keep showing much of the warriors (The Hand) in all the trailers. It's funny how similar this is to the League of Assassins on Arrow. I think that is going to be the main focus verses Elektra or the Punisher.

Not according to every other trailer EXCEPT this one... :)

Yeah I know but do you really think there is going to be more focus on Elektra and the Punisher verses the Hand story line?

Why do they have to be separate?

They don't. It's just shows typically use "guest" appearances type stuff as audience bait. I honestly hope they are both are heavily featured this season. I just wouldn't be surprised if that wasn't the case and it's just a few episodes of each character.

I just looked it up and they both show up on IMDB as in the entire season. Woot! Hopefully, that is accurate.

Finished binge watching season 2, liked it even better than season 1. Best Punisher I've seen outside the comics, really well done.

Hoping that season 3 introduces Bullseye, was hoping he would be a surprise character this season as his story was tied to Elektra in the Frank Mller run in the comics back in the 80's.

I am just a little over halfway through. I have been to busy setting up my OTA, TIVO and FIRE TV to get through it all. This show rocks!

I really liked it--and especially loved the Punisher--but season 1 was still far and away better than this one for me. Season 2 was too all over the place. I get it, that this season was about things falling apart into chaos, in his personal life as well as in Hell's Kitchen. And I think they portrayed that well. Don't get me wrong. I loved season 2, and binge watched it because of that. I just think the cohesion wasn't top-notch like in the 1st season.

The reason I liked Season 2 better (and this is splitting hairs really because I loved season 1 too) is because I didn't really care for the way Kingpin was portrayed then (my only complaint). The Season 2 Kingpin is much closer to the way the comic book character is than he was in 1...maybe it is character progression or his arc but he seemed mentally weak to start out and that is way out of character for what was established in the comics.

I do have one complaint about season 2, it seems like Foggy brings down every scene, not the actor but how the character is written. He is just "Debbie Downer".

That was my only nitpick as well. I thought his portrayal in Season 1 was very one dimensional. It's why I didn't like him as well as Killgrave on Jessica Jones which I found creepy as hell. Love this version of FISK much better.

I just finished. I wish there was ore Fisk and more Claire though. However, with adding The Punisher and Elektra there was just no room. I wish the season was a few more episodes longer. I love but hate binge watching. Love watching it straight through but then it sucks because in an instant.....another year before new episodes. LOL.

I got a different read on Foggy. I think his character developed more depth this season in response to Matt's gross disregard for everyone around him and terrible decision making. Not that I didn't love Matt's poor choices, because it brought plenty of tension to the show.

I have to say I 100 percent disagree about Kingpin.

Wow, yeah, I have a vastly different take on Fisk than you two. I like Daredevil more than Jessica Jones overall (though it's a pick-em) because Fisk was so brilliantly done last season, and because the portrayal, in both the writing and acting, was so multi-faceted. I mean, he's up there with Loki as far as Marvel villains for me.

But hey, we each have our opinion and, as you outnumber me 2-1, mine clearly wins :D

I forgot that I gave up on Jessica Jones around Episode 9. Gotta finish that! Halfway through DD Season 2, and I gotta say I like it more than the first season by a mile! Though, I hear it gets somewhat dumb in the second half, the first half with the Punisher was perfection!

I love how they portrayed the Punisher this season. My initial reaction was maybe they should start another series. However, I would have to imagine the body count would be high. That paints this more grounded version of the Marvel "verse" into a corner. They want these shows to be more grounded verses the films. However, if he racks up tons of kills per episode?!?!? Not sure how that would translate.

You do know a Punisher series was already given the green light, right?

No, the last thing I read is that Netflix was "close" to ordering a 12 season episode. I have not read anything on it since then.

Doesn't change my concerns though. If he is killing 10 people an episode, every freaking law enforcement agency and probably a ton of heroes would be coming for him. Netflix has been building these shows to be more "realistic" verses the films. That would be kind of contradictory. Who knows....maybe they find a way to make it work.

I love the portrayal of the character and would watch but at some point I will probably check out if he racks up 100 kills a season and they don't have a plausible way of dealing with that in the show.

Huh, I thought I had read it as a done deal. It looks like the news is a wink-wink we can't confirm but we are doing it kind of thing, but you're right. It isn't confirmed yet.

From SDCC: Netflix’s Daredevil has been renewed for a third season.

Won't be out for some time, though. Luke Cage is being released on September 30, 2016. Iron Fist is being released in early 2017. The Defenders will be released after Iron Fist later in 2017. Daredevil: Season 3 will likely be released after The Defenders as well as Jessica Jones: Season 2.

As long as I have other Marvel shows that I can watch that fills the gap, I'll be good. :)

Just finished up Season 2. Loved it! I wasn't sure how they would pull off introducing Punisher and Elektra, but they pulled it off. Halfway through Luke Cage so I'm catching up quick! These Netflix shows are killing it.

It's not anywhere near as good as Jessica Jones or DD, but we wanted to be ready for the Defenders. I hear Iron Fist is the real crapshow.

Oh, I think the first HALF of Luke Cage is awesome; it's just the rest that sucked. And you said you were halfway through, so... :D

Yeah, Iron Fist is crap all the way through.

I didn't mind iron fist, but I'm a superhero junkie now. And I'm just excited for defenders.

Yeah, I don't get why they decided to get rid of a good villain in the middle of the series and replace him with such an awful one. Horrible miscalculation. If they would have kept him through the whole season, I think a lot of opinions about that show would have changed.

Yep. I mean, they could have offed him and then had sis take over, which is what I thought was going to happen. But man, the direction they went...blech!
