I see Robinson filling the Milton Williams type role for the Cardinals. Which I why I prefer the Cardinals to target Sweat in FA.

I thought the Cards considered him more of a five-technique/strongside end?

Not from what I saw. While he did line up some as a 5 technique, he played more as a 4i and 3 technique in the limited snaps that he got last season.

I see him as a DE/DT depending on the defensive formation. I don't see him as a pure Edge guy.

Didn't some refer to him as a hybrid that can move all around the line?

I dunno, bro. The clips from the Vikes game had him playing all over the place, but especially outside. Some snaps even came from a Wide-9 alignment.

Yes he was playing everywhere out of necessity. The Cardinals had very little pass rushing options at that point and Rallis was doing everything possible to manufacture some sort of pass rush.

Now that the Cards have Sweat, Browning, BJ, and Collins at the Edge position. I believe Robinson will be used much more as a 4i and 3 technique moving forward.

Collins has nothing to offer as a pass rusher specialist
Browning has some upside but he is more a back up player
BJ two years of Nfl, spent most of the time on IR
Sweat is a solid pass rusher but just reached the double digit sacks in one season
We got better but still a long way to go

Sure. But that way doesn't include trading for Hendrickson. Not going to happen now.

We'll see. He seems a little long and narrow for that role. IIRC, when the Cards drafted him they said they saw him as an edge/outside player. He seems more built like a Zach Allen/JJ Watt type player.

Milton Williams is two inches shorter and about five lbs heavier. Jalen Carter is two inches shorter and about 25 lbs heavier.
