Daryl Washington breaks his silence about his future

He was an Arians guy from the Steelers that ended up getting a fair amount of snaps early on... the cut was pretty relevant in how fast it happened for being one of "Arians' guys."

That's how I remember it as well.

Sorry Daryl, it's way too late for me to give a rip about anything you have to say.

During his suspension he's missed multiple tests, failed multiple tests and oh by the way, the whole domestic violence incident. Nothing has changed. The fact that he feels confident the league is just going to reinstate him is comical. Not to mention he will immediately be re-suspended.

It sucks. He was such a phenomenal talent. Imagine this window we've had the last 3 years with prime Dwash in the mix... He robbed himself, his team and all of us of that potential. It's over, he's 30 years old. Dude is a loser.

If he eventually comes back and has 1-2 decent years for some other franchise I'm not going to lose any sleep over it. Good for him.

Couple thoughts -
Re football shape. Steep hill to climb. Some have done it/attempted it. Andre Wadsworth with the Jets.

Re Fitz' Floyd comments - he definitely implied that he was not happy with the way management handled it.

Re Likelihood of Cards keeping DW - If they cut Floyd for his disrespect of the team/management how would it fly with guys like Fitz if they gave DW a free pass after all his lies?

Assuming he gets reinstated, his contract term expires & another team picks up DW do we get a comp pick?
