I'm also excited for the young guys on the line. I think Kelemete and Massie will start next year. We just re-did Levi's contract, so I expect he will as well. Then probably Sendlein and Colledge. Hopefully Potter improves as well. The line has the potential to be legit in a year. Good or great is a little too kind, but they should no longer be the embarrassment that they've been for the last millennium

Never thought Id see the day where Levi ws being spoken about in such positive tones.

If we have a shot at a good LT in this years draft...why the heck not?

Also, I dont like Colledge. Not at all. Him and Sneider need to be replaced. Kelemente can be 1, we need to draft the other.

Lyle can stay.

WAY too soon to decide on Massie. He looked OK game 1. But horrible in preseason. Wel'll see, but like Levi, if a good RT option exists, jump on it. Weve seen this year what lack of depth can do to a team.

Levi Brown is on the hook for $4.75 million in salary and another $5.6 million in pro-rated signing bonus. If a rookie LT is available in the draft, he (probably) isn't much of an upgrade over Levi right now, and then you lose the opportunity cost of taking a player at a greater position of need.

We'll draft a quarterback or a rush linebacker in the first round next year. Lock it in.

:D

We're talking about Levi Brown here. Not Joe Thomas of the Cleveland Browns.

Not an upgrade? Yes, LB played better last year, but are we going to forget his career? Guys been the Art Modell of the Cards fan base for years now, and now we have a chance at a replacement and you say that LB is a better option?

I couldnt disagree more. We need a LT in the 2013 draft no matter what. Depth is always a concern. D'Anthony Batiste is our current starter, so that says alot. The reason Horrible Levi has never lost his starting spot is because hes never had competetion for the starters role (also his paycheck $$$)

and it Doesnt gotta be 1st round. BPA all the way. A 2nd round LT would be more than adequate.

lol. I never thought I'd ever look at Levi in a positive light. But he did well towards the end of last season. I was hoping to see him build on it. I think Colledge is good enough, Snyder will lose out to Kelemete
